Joy: The Finale

Here we are, very happy, satisfied, and TIRED, on our train back to Plovdiv.  I can't even begin to put into to words how well these girls have done.  Not just with their dances, but with how well-behaved they've been, having most of them never left their parents or home before.  I feel like I have 10 nieces and couldn't be more proud!

Our greatest award we received these past few days was all the other participants stopping our girls and telling them how unique our performance was, how different we were from all the other groups on stage, and, most of all, an invitation to perform our dances at another event in the fall.  It's so wonderful to see these girls' opportunities open up because they've worked so hard.

I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be on this Monday afternoon than sitting next to them on our way back home :)

Joy: Varna, here we come!

Ok, so we've been majorly MIA, but we're about to make up for it with a PACKED summer!  First on the list is a dance competition with 10 of my girls on the Black Sea... we are on our way right now!  Our train should arrive around lunch.  Here are a few of us in our train car :)

More to come...
